Tell us a little about your style.

I go for comfort and if I can be casual I will be.  For events that are more upscale I go for classy/sexy.

Who are your favorite designers and why?  

None in particular however store wise, I like BCBG, Arden B, Urban Outfitters, and American Apparel.

What are your favorite pieces currently in your closet?  Do you have a "go-to" piece or outfit?

I have a pair of BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters that I like to pair with a tee from American Apparel.  I also have a pair of gray suede boots from Replay that I'm into right now.

Anything you can wait to get for spring? 

I can't wait to see the new "every-day" casual shoes.  I also love wedges because it feels like I'm walking in flats.

You're newest movie, Still A Teen, is due out in August.  How do you prepare for a premiere? 

It really depends.  I'll find out where it's at, and if there's an after party.  If it's casual, I'll wear jeans.  If I need to dress up, I'll go for a dress or pencil skirt.

Any fashion moments you would rather forget?

I can't say there are.  I modeled for a department store once and it was one of the most hideous outfits I've ever worn!  The picture turned out really good, the outfit felt really old for me though.  

Any favorite accessories?

I have a Vera Wang necklace that you can also wear as a headband or belt.  It has long brown leather straps with a silk embroidered flowers.  I'll normally just wear it with a tee because I don't want to take away from the necklace.  Purple is my color-of-the-year and I have a purple bag from Steve Madden that I carry with me all the time.  It has a ton of pockets so its good to travel with. 

Beauty wise, what can't you live without?

Definitely Aveda products, in particular, their Hydrating Lotion.

Q&A with Krista Ayne

Having graced the covers of magazines like Rolling Stone (with Kid Rock we might add) and appearing in the most recent issue of  Details (March '09), model/actress Krista Ayne is no stranger to fashion.  The brunette beauty played the love interest of Jesse McCartney in his Beautiful Soul video and stars in Still A Teen, due out in August.
