The heart just came about; its is about asymmetry and unconditional love. So much thought and detail goes into each detail of the collection.
As the designer of LuLA, I'm sure you adore all of your pieces. Is there anything that stands out, or holds a little bit more of your heart?
This is way too hard...I would say from the Mini Crush, to everything in between, and the Stallion collection. The Stallion Collection represents going forward, and all the things to come.
Tell us about your spring collection.
Spring for LuLA is about neutral tones and pops of bold colors, with touches of snake skin trim. Now more than ever a staple accessory has the ability to transform a wardrobe and make it fresh.
Your pieces are unique to the LuLA brand. What inspires you?
I am definitely inspired by art, music, and color.
In your line, do you have a "go-to" piece?
My "go-to" piece depends on the day and the mood! There really is something for everyone within the collection.

us what it was like when you were first starting out...when was your
first break?
When I started out I had an idea and the will to pursue it. I showcased the collection at Los Angeles Fashion Week and received a positive response. An editor from Elle said, "This is great, now how are you going to produce the collection?" and "ding", I was in business.
Who are some of your favorite designers-accessory or clothing-and why?
My top favorites are Balenciaga, Blumarine, and Milly.
Balenciaga/Nicholas Ghesquiere-I adore his style! His approach to clothing design is thoughtful and focused.
Blugirl/Blumarine-I enjoy the lines and colors of his collection. The clothing is confident and feminine. I am constantly drawn to the collection.
Milly-Milly is fun and accessible. Her separates add a punch of delight to my closet.
